Had to be said that was the worst performance this season.

Players look knackered.

We should have bought a CM in the window.

Been in decline for a month and I was trying to highlight this was coming all week , but it was falling on deaf ears.

I don't think newcastle will reach the heights they hit before Christmas again this season.

This month is more the reality of what this side actually is rather than the one riding a confidence wave prior

Overall the situation is far better than anyone anticipated, so really I'm quite content.

Like, when a team overachieves, doesn't mean people can't be unhappy when they witness the eventual decline.

I'm always gonna moan when we play ****, doesn't matter if we were class for the 20 games prior, in the moment of watching a match we will all complain.

I reckon if people don't like that reaction, they can have a convo with Elon Musk and get a ticket to Mars, chat about football with the rocks.

Brighton reserve centre back playing at left back being compared with your messiah playing in his actual position? <laugh>
You mean the St Ettiene reserve player who made our goal being compared with the PL player who has played left back for his two PL teams?

One made a goal. The other gifted a goal and then almost gifted a second.

One who is coming back from injury and the other who has been a regular all season?

Or two PL players with one creating a goal and the other doing the exact opposite?

Messiah? Don’t think so. Player with potential most definitely. Both had poor games but at least Max did something positive.

ASM has one good moment all season
Burn has had numerous good moments

I enjoy reactions but ultimately newcastle were always going to get found out eventually.

They've burned out maybe?
