Disappointed to read of a public criticism of Isaac Davies. The lad has been terrific this season and in particular greatly helped to turn around the Huddersfield & Birmingham games.
Morison stated Davies was “more a hindrance than a help.”
Shades of Jones’ slamming of Adam Mathews.
IMO comments like that should be left in the dressing room.
Morison’s halo has slipped since he took over and his personality and displays in press conferences are curious to say the least. Also picking Bacuna to start will require some explanation; he has also publicity criticised him but that’s expected but hasn’t to my knowledge said why he was put on the pitch at the start.
Fully agree Ninian. No need at all for that public comment on Davies. He needs the ball played in front of him so he can run at defenders. That didn't happen. Colwill was as ineffective.
At least Bacuna won't be a selection issue for the next 3 games.
As for Nelson, it appears he has spent more time on the pitch than any other City player this season. That paints a picture. Also, Cherries fans I spoke to thought he was our best defender. Funny how people view games differently.
