The country is in more debt than it was in 2008, 09, 10,11, 12,13 and 14.
The Tories have borrowed more in five years than labour did in thirteen, and labour were in power when the worldwide financial crisis was at its height. This austerity isn't about balancing the books it's about the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer.

We've always had a national debt as far back as WW2, the debt I talk about is the budget deficit that Labour left which was the biggest ever and was never going to be wiped out in one parliament - was always going to take two parliaments.

£170bn deficit left by a spendaholic party in 2010 that only know tax & spend, tax them till the pips squeak as Denis Healey said in the 70's - Labour only know one thing! <doh>

Yet you're worried about an extra 2.5% on VAT when you're mortgage & debt free!! <doh>

Who gives a **** if he issued two cheques from a closed account. I'd like to think my local MP is too dam busy sorting actuall issues out to spend a great deal of time rummaging around for a cheque book.

Infact, I'd say its quite embarrassing that A.) The papers printed this story and B.) That anyone would give a ****.

Thats far too sensible a view for on here <ok>

Listen I think a lot of undecided voters are still out there and must have some inkling about who they will vote for I bet the SUN newspaper tells us the outcome on Thursday morning and it will not suit you but please me the country will be run properly

You seem a little bit odd, kind of childish but i'm assuming older? Just saying.

Odd in what way because I don't agree with them

This was just a general comment, rather than about that one post.

If i read most of your posts about the general election, i would have said you were about 14-15, but i believe you're actually considerably older than that?

You seem a bit, my dads better than your dad :-/

Good morning Neil
Just wondered if you could send me details of overspending by the coalition since they took over
I can provide you with the facts about the idiots running the asylum beforefor example
Before they took over Britain borrowed 3% gdp and debt of 45% when they left it was 5.1% and 51.8%
the debt was 350billion when they came into office by2007 it was 527billion and that's before the banking scandal
So they have nothing to be proud about along with the 2 wars they got us into
Cheers hope you are well MIKE
Think you might be in for a bit of a fright, Mike, so I though I'd break it to you easy with the Torygraph version. End result? Tory borrowing is now approaching 90% of GDP, or 1.6 Trillion, if you prefer. If only it was 51,8% again, eh? Think I prefer Ed Ballsup to Orifice Osbourne. In fact, Ozzy Osbourne could do a better job!

Guess you must have read the link I left you, Mike. What's it like having all your tory arguments smashed by a tory rag?
