On sky now saying loan interest We forgave kahboul which I was more reluctant to do, have borini back in a flash Still need that creative midfielder though
Taken from Sky Sports Transfer feed. Keith Downie reporting it also. Either it has legs, or sky have massively jumped on the bandwagon.
I always positive matey despite what some may think. Ask Vincemac how much so but I get very frustrated and pissed off with a club that could be so much ore than it it is or has been for over 40 years.
I get pissed off too mate, let's wait until the transfer witch is over ey! You really think Dick is gonna kick on with this season without Reinforcements? He's Dutch, he's a stubborn lil General..
13:21 BORINI SET FOR SUNDERLAND? Fabio Borini is just 1/10 to make a move to Sunderland before the transfer window shuts, with Sky sources suggesting talks are taking place over a season-long loan. It's 12/1 the striker stays at Liverpool, with Fiorentina and Lazio other possible destinations at 7/1 and 10/1 respectively. Check out the latest odds here.
End of the day it was Poyet and ultimately SAFC who looked like the mugs last season with the continued pursuit of Borini. The guy wanted to prove himself at one of the top teams in the Premiership and play Champions League football. Can anyone blame the guy for that? OK maybe he was being ambitious but with the Suarez saga he thought he would play more of a part than he did. Maybe he was poorly guided and maybe he overestimated himself but name a premiership footballer who doesn't have an ounce of arrogance, it comes with the territory. Will Borini improve us? Yes So for me I will be more than happy if we sign him either on loan or permanently.
Any1 got pics of Borini's missus? Seriously one sniff of Borini and it's a fireworks show on here lol
I;d be happy to see him back. Decent player. Can't understand people begrudging him wanting to try his luck at Liverpool, especially with the lack of striking options they had last season. He never ****ed us about as far as I can tell, he said no and Gus / Congers wouldn't acept it. The lad's done no wrong by us in my opinion, I'd welcome him back. We still need an out and out striker, mind.
I think a lot of the negative opinion directed at him last year was down to that ridiculous fee. I'd like to think Sunderland have a fee in mind, in the contract, below £7m now in case the loan turns permanent. £14m was a joke, ffs, we paid that for Schweinsteiger.
I get ya! I'm really positive dick will do well this year tho and I'm very happy with what we've done up till now in the transfer market.
I think it's his stubbornness and tough nature that may well be the catalyst for him to walk. If he was promised A and delivered B I think he would consider walking. He's too old and wise to struggle on at 67. Anyway, hopefully we have 3 new faces at minimum and 3 quality ones at that. If so, it's all tomorrow's fish & chip wrappers anyway.
