I think to be fair Fabio has been clear from day one that he wanted to fight at Liverpool.
His agent has strung it out looking for his payday, and in fairness, this is one time his agents move would have benefited his career.

I think I'm the only person who doesn't especially rate him. I hate footballers who don't know their position and he reeks of that.
He's a good player with potential, decent pace , great touch, but I don't think he'll ever be much better than he is.
He's a good fit for us like, but I'm not arsed, I'd like him as a wide man, but as a striker don't fancy him at all.
I don't see why Mavrias can't be just as good like.
You have to assume that Borini has been given some glimmer of hope by Rodgers, otherwise he'd have signed straightaway.

Agreed. I'm not heart-broken if we don't get him. At the same time I don't blame him for wanting to keep his options open.
I think the fact he didn't make the World Cup has a lot to do with it and he's holding out for a club that can help him get back into the national squad, maybe back in Italy. I don't think it's so much about us but more about his own personal ambitions.
Good luck to the lad. He helped us out last season and I'm grateful for his efforts.

I'm inclined to agree with you on this one now. I've give it time, remained confident and positive. A line has to be drawn though and it's time we ****ed him off and moved on.
