The pitch is slippy, lets them sprint out quicker without falling over and ending up looking like a twat.

Linesmen sometimes wear normal trainers*. So it does seem weird that physios wear proper boots.

*Might be 'sneakers' to you. I don't know.

Sure, we call them sneakers but thanks to you folks I know what you refer to as trainers. Coincidentally, we refer to physios as "Trainers."

For me that would make more sense as a reference to the coaches since they take training.

I wonder if over here the physios are more medical (like the people who do rehab for car accident victims and things) where in America they tend to be more from the personal trainer side of things. (I'm not talking about the work they do at the club, that'll be pretty similar, just the field they'd be working in if they weren't in sport)

So this thread prompted me to google 'moldies boots'. See I always liked a nice pair of moldies and I'm interested to know what's going on in the world of moldies.

Well this is the kind of result you get...

Helmet polish. Fnar

That and saphir. Those fellas had the full treatment to restore them. Good leather doesn't need much. I have too many fine shoes. Like a woman... Love giving them a good rubbing. Fnar.
