Bony did have his chances at city but you could see he did not possess the skill or class of his team mates, A big club is a step too far with better players around him. He would be better off with clubs like us who dont have a choice of players like city...He is going to have to take a big wage cut if he is going to find a reasonable club to take him on or he can ruin his career by staying where he is running his contract down earning big bucks......it will be a big waste if he stays at a club that don't want him....

If the new manager coming in has any brains , he will not waste Bony like the present one did .
Bony is every bit as good as 90 % of the players on the team but you don't get a 2nd chance at a 1st impression .
I've seen the City manager bring Bony on at times and make a big impact and then sit him again .
Bony may be reborn at City with the new guy . Bony's is class and is as good as anyone IMO

The info I can find online say that Milner was offered a deal around £165,000 per week to stay at Man City but moved to Liverpool for £120,000 per week. Thats a £45,000 per week less - and he gets a lot more game time.

Benteke is on £140k per week. Who will take him on that salary now ?
Sturridge is on £120k per week, all other squad members are on less than £100K

typing james milner wages everyones quoting 150k.

15k is f all hardly a wage cut for him. Think 165 is what city were offerring not what he was on. Anyway my point was if you think bony isnt worth 100k, there will always be mugs, just look at those wages you've bandied for benteke milner and sturridge and this is BEFORE the premiership money

He is not roof, he is a small club player where he can stand out more and by him going to Man City put him up against far better players than he will ever be.and his popularity has gone down hill. He needs to get away from there asap....

A small club player who can score goals in the CL as well as the PL. He may not be on Agueros level but there will be enough teams out there that will take him if Man City offload. Would love him back but he is out of our price range now. Cant see Leicester going in for him though unless Vardy goes

He is the total opposite of Vardy though, so not sure he would suit them and the way they play on the counter.

I'd love it to happen (still don't think so though). I think he's a way better player than Man City give him credit for - I just think their style of football doesn't suit him as much as ours did.
If they still owe us £8M for him, and are prepared to sell for £18M, then if, and only if my maths are correct, we could get him for £10M. Weekly wage may be a problem, but worth it. Still think West Ham/Everton will have him though.

There are things that Bony brings to a team that Aquero doesn't also though .
Looks like the media is really picking up on the Bony to Swans story today .
Seeing 18 million being thrown around ...... SOLD ..IMO

Sell Gomis +Jonjos wages should be close to £90-100k a week saved on the pair. Job done :)

If Lukaku was to leave he's the perfect replacement:(

To be fair we have never had a striker, in my memory, fit our play as well as Bony. He may feel it a step back, but he would be worshiped here again I'm sure.
He would and if we were to sign him I would be more than confident of us staying up as between him and if we keep siggy there is over 25 goals a season there.
