It seems highly likely that Bony will be surplus to requirements at Man City when Pep takes over.
Most of us can dream that we could have him back, but personally I can't see that happening.

Where do you guys think he'll end up playing next season ?

For me I think maybe West Ham will go for him. Maybe Everton if Lukaku leaves....

I can't see him coming back here but there will be no shortage of takers.

If we knock Man City out of Champions League , we improve what little chance we have of bringing Bony back .
No team is a player though and we've had success without him . Be nice though , for him to as he would have all the minutes he wants with us .

Aguero will always be number 1, but I'm not sure why he would be 'surplus to requirements'. Has Guardiola got others lined up?

Man City have already said bony is not wanted for next season...He has not exactly proved to be a superstar in a top team so i cant see who would want him. £100k/week is a turn off for a start...<laugh>

Doesn't mean he'll get £100k elsewhere though. Depends if he wants to play or just take the cash.......

If its true what people say that you live to your means he is probably used to living on £100k per week then I agree he isn't going to take that much of a pay cut. But.... never say never who knows!

Do you think that anyone else is prepared to pay him £100K though ?
I'm sure there are a few teams who will pay £60-70K for him, but the teams who pay £100K probably won't be interested in him. Arsenal ? Would be surprised if they went for him. Klopp probably knows his targets already - and probably from Europe. Can't see Man U being interested or Chelsea. Who else is left ? Spurs - when they already have Kane ?

As for him being on £100K, my point is that other teams probably don't value him at that rate. So it's up to him whether he takes a pay cut and gets to play (just like James Milner) or just decides the money is more important and plays a bit part at Man City.

It would be a miracle if we got a sniff of him, and as I said earlier I can't see that happening - unless on loan and Man City paid a high percentage of his wages.

If they don't make Champions League maybe paying 60 thousand a week of Bony's wages will let him come on loan .

It's not likely to be CL though. I can see him trying his luck in Europe maybe, but he won't get the wages there. As others have said next season we'll know what matters to him.

You do realise that the likes of James Milner is on 150k a week at liverpool <laugh>.

As for no one paying 100k a week, how many average footballers are now on 50/60/70k a week. We're talking about a bonafide goalscorer here, who will normally cost big bucks see Rhodes, Long, Benteke, Wickham, Borini etc and this is BEFORE the big fat massive bumper premier league super deal which is coming in next year which lets face it will only go to transfer fees and wages

There is a big difference to a manager coming back to a club than a player in his prime coming back as he would feel like a failure and a backward step in his career.. Its about time now that there was a cap on how much a player can earn as £100k+ a week is obscene ....

Maybe Leicester City Might take a punt!
Be a great fit for club and player ..... For sure . Almost hope it happens if we don't get him . If City gualify for Champions League he'll go nowhere , if they don't , I can see him on at least loan next season ....maybe even sold . Leicester won't be hurting for money .....Holy Leicester if they ever got Bony ...

The info I can find online say that Milner was offered a deal around £165,000 per week to stay at Man City but moved to Liverpool for £120,000 per week. Thats a £45,000 per week less - and he gets a lot more game time.

Benteke is on £140k per week. Who will take him on that salary now ?
Sturridge is on £120k per week, all other squad members are on less than £100K
