Cant be arsed but scores loads of goals..from what ive seen on you tube he looks like he has a good first touch and can shoot from distance as well as have the knack of being in the right place at the right time, has a few tricks and doesn't take forever to steady himself before attempting a shot on goal like DG !! The dutch league can be a little tricky in terms of identifying real scoring talent but that could well be because UK teams don't play the same style as over there, we are very close to how they play the game in Holland so I would expect that he could fit in quite well if he signed.

His pace doesn't seem that bad to me at all, looks quicker than DG and Michu, again we go back to what you can expect for your money In the current market, if he had the pace of a grey hound to go along with his quite obvious strength then we would be looking at £15m and up!!

Any striker who can keep hold of the ball in the box and get his shot away has to be an improvement on what we currently have , some decent service from Pablo and Wayne and who knows he may just be the answer ,we seemed to have lost confidence in front of goal and we look like Arsenal a couple of seasons ago with a "after you, no after you "pass without actually shooting or actually troubling the keeper.As to pace DG wasn't the quickest but he achieved a more that reasonable goal return Bony looks a different player all together and hopefully an improvement

As Cove has kindly pointed out, this guy is too slow and too cumbersome for our style of play. Add this to the fac that he has never truely been 100% fit suggests attitude issues, i.e. he can't be arsed.

Stumpy - I know mate, im exactly the same as you, we never know how anything will work out RE players and that's the beauty of football isn't it? I know that what ever any of us say about our club or players in an objective context everyone of us would love to be proved wrong if it meant the club is successful !!
 
Reading between the lines during all this; it appears that, although Swansea have stumped up the original asking price, Vitesse are holding out for more cash but Bony and his Agent have gone public to force the move. Thats my take on it anyway.
