I don't go on the Swans board and spoil good threads, so why should I put up with it here ?
We have quite a few good posters from the Swans, a bit of banter no problem but spoilers who infest thread after thread, either they go or I will.

Why should you go Dave? Taff, much as I admire your resistance to banning I feel that the board is approaching a 'tipping point'. Seems some Cardiff posters are getting desperate with the constant wumming and, much as it pains me to say it, I can't blame them! I visit this board regularly as I am genuinely interested in the views of my Welsh neighbours but have been embarrassed by some (not all) of the infantile posts that seem to have the sole purpose of derailing decent threads!
I would appeal to my fellow Jacks to think before they post - banter is fine - but when long standing posters feel that their only recourse is to leave the board, then that makes me sad! Just think before you post, and try this; imagine yourself in a pub discussing football with fellow fans; what comments would you tolerate, and which would make you want to punch someone in the face? Put yourself in the place of the other fan - would you like to hear what you are posting?
We have both lost valued posters and to be honest it really is not on! This should be a platform for debate about the teams we support and love - not a platform for trivial point scoring and childish taunts! When long standing members like Dave consider leaving then we all have to take a good long look at ourselves - it's only a game ffs! Many enjoy these forums so why should they be deprived from contributing because some let their petty rivalries and bitterness spoil it for the majority of decent posters?

Thankfully the adults on here seem decent enough and I trust them to put the children in place.
I'm not being funny but it's a fkn ridicilous. I'm all for rivalry but some people take it way too far. How on earth are things supposed to improve with people's current mindset? There's enough English out there that hate us so there's no need to do it to ourselves , it's pathetic. We're a small country and we have two clubs in the Premier league. We should be congratulating each other and wishing each other well not this bollocks that's going on.

You're absolutely right though about this getting ridiculous. There are few on both sides that need to step back and consider the effect their input is having on this forum.
I noticed Dave saying somewhere on a thread that he was considering packing it in on here as a result, and he wont be the first nor the last to do that.
I'll stick it out till it becomes too cretinous for even my varied taste, but to be honest, it's going that way right now.
This forum will die a natural death through the alienation of the majority by a few who just wont listen.
Surely this just comes down to one thing. Staying on topic.
If a thread is about finances then expect a bit about VT, debt, begging buckets. If not posters who take it there should be warned then banned.
If you can wum on the topic of the thread and know when to leave it that's fine by me.

I don't think anyone is too concerned about the banter. From my personal view it's the constant name calling and petty comments. Banter about VT, colour of our kit, playing style etc, etc are acceptable.
Dont give in Dave , the runts will have reached their objective then .......You are Cardiff and we never run ,,,,,,,,,;O)

You were banned over there by their often over-zealous police force mainly because of the content of your comments, and are only getting away with it on this forum because of the tolerance of our own mods.
I've enjoyed the forum exchanges over the years with like minded jacks. Right now, there're a lot of decent ones, as well as our own guys, who avoid the chat for fear of getting sucked into the petty name calling that erupts as a result of a few who apparently can't refrain from the childishness.
Don't want to fall out with you or any other Cardiff supporter over this, but for the good of the board, stop being so provocative and perhaps we can all enjoy this forum rather than have it ruined.

This is the start of the end for me fellas. This will sound the end of humour and cross boarder banter. People will pester the mods consistently now.This is exactly the same point where the jax board changed direction. What I have always liked about our board is the fact we could always counter any onslaught. Not any more.
Countering an onslaught on a wum thread has never been a problem for me - the point is they're ruining perfectly good football threads that just descend into chaos because of their intervention with stupid unrelated comments. They can never be pulled back on track because some on this side respond in like kind. Result - total crap and a ruined thread.
That's what needs resolving.
I can only speak for myself, but trying to force our hand by threatening to leave isn't really the way forward IMO.

I propose a 3 strike rule until these guidelines are in place. Frankly, while we're issuing threats - i really can be arsed with the hassle of being responsible for keeping hold of posters who get menstral when mods don't pander.
Its a public forum, and you have ignore buttons.
Or alternatively, if everyone feels like Dj, lets have it out - who are the trouble makers? **** democracy lets just get rid. This whole debacle is becoming tedious and we just need to end it one way or another.

We are all entitled to our opinions, the problem is this type of thread about banning etc comes about every 2 or 3 months and as normal nothing is done.
It's not a threat only my opinion if you are happy do go through this time and time again so be it.
