Very difficult today. Not sure of the exact prices (no access at work) but: 12.20 Southwell French Ties (hacked up last time and can defy the penalty) 1.55 Southwell Commemorate (John Ferguson has hit the target first time out in a few of these events) 3.30 Southwell The Ferick (Good 2nd on debut and McCoy in the plate) More in hope than expectation
Just for the stats i will put mine up, but will work out the return on each bet. I think we all have chances today. Southwell 1.55 Commemorate 13-8 unplaced 3.00 Goodwill Phil 11-10 unplaced 3.30 The ferick 6-4 2nd All best odds £10 win trixi & £10 win treble Stake £50 Return £0 Running total £+ 271
My first one down already - 4th of 4. French Ties needed more cut in the ground tbh but I thought he might "wing it"
Last day of the month tomorrow, i think we will finish on a bang. The period since our win has been beyond dissapointing but ever the optimist i will get up and fight again tomorrow. I seriously expected to be over a thousand pounds up on the month from this bet.
Time of the year I reckon Bluesky - alot of the NH horses are just coming back into training and having their first races - the form has not yet settled down properly. I always think the Tingle Creek meeting heralds a run of more reliable for in the NH sphere, real winter form starting which holds until the spring ground comes. December could be a good month I reckon
Wednesday 30th Nov: 12.40 Uttox Open Hearted (Tissue 11/8) 1.10 Uttox Just Rob (Tissue 11/8) 1.30 Catterick Cuban Piece (Tissue 11/8) Got the champ on my side this time After one day: -50
Dam. Just missed a 6/1 winner from Timeform. Arisea looked well ahead of her mark when readily coming clear at Carlisle last month and is the one to side with on her follow-up bid. Zefooha and Kayf Commander are others likely to make their presence felt, but Brave Spartacus has shaped better than his form figures imply over hurdles and may well prove the chief threat. That's put me off trying to find 3 winners but I'll have a go.
Catterick 13.30 Cuban Piece (11th of 12) 15.30 Karinga Hey (11th of 12) Fantastic. Both trained by Donald McCain and ridden by Jason Maguire and both 9/4f. Luckily I had a saver bet - Both to finish last but one at 150/1. Kempton 5.00 Topflight Princess won 9/4 Crikey

Thursday - Today's the day Wincanton 13.10 Water Garden 13.40 Habbie Simpson Leicester 14.35 Edgebury Would have liked to include Kells Belle (14.00 Leicester) but it's odds on so is not included.
So the month has ended and as i have mentioned i think little has been proven either way. The first week what i hoped would happen indeed did, we hit a couple of doubles and a jackpot day and that alone put us up for the month but in the last 10 days we have only had one further double. My thoughts are that this will be proven to be a bad run and not usual but nevertheless the results for this experiment are as they are. These results showed that we ended the month with a small profit of £220, they also showed that backing these selections in the multiple did provide a bigger return than if backed in singles. I really do wholeheartedly believe this is a bet and staking plan to make regular and decent profit, and to this end i will run the experiment again, most likely in the new year. Thank you very much to those who have followed it and even offered encouragment, it's what the best of the forum is about. Result for November Multiples £221 profit relating to 22points up Singles £89 Profit relating to 9 points up
Well done Blue a worthy experiment indeed. Looking forward to another one in the new year. Good luck for now.
