Loving it when I come down south it’s free only get it up here at Freeman and Hartlepool hospitals
Never knew thatAnd you can leave the car on double yellows, as long as the curbstone isn't marked with the yellow line indicating no parking for anyone.
Left mine outside the empire/dun cow a few times on the yellows when I've taken the bairn to the town.Never knew that
However long the panto/show was on for. Certainly over 2hrs all in all each time. Vaux car park is free as well, so is Roker marina and the bays by the side of the road at seaburn opposite the promenade. For how long ?
Loving the non response
I go to watch my grandson play football at Hilton hub there are about 10 disabled bays last Saturday counted 4 cars parked in them with no badges. I can walk about 40 yds and need to stop for a breather, which means I have to take a breather before I get to the entrance because there are no disabled spaces left. I do laugh when I see a big 4 x 4 with a blue badge you almost need steps to get in themIt's not really a big issue for most people tbh.
All I know about blue badges is that I can't see much wrong with the people who have them and park in disabled spaces at Tesco ...
... I just assume they all have Tourette's syndrome judging by their responses when I ask them why they're entitled to a blue badge.
Agree with this. A couple of my mates are deaf with hearing aids. Can hear as well as everyone else, play footy and run. But they’re registered disabled because of their deafness. Can park the same places my Dad can and my dad can’t walk more than 200m without stopping. And he does that very slowly with a stick.I think this is a totally broken system, you see able people parking with impunity especially in supermarket bays and people with blue badges striding out having jumped from their vehicle, not looking very disabled at all.
Isn't the badge issued to a particular person and not the vehicle, if that person isn't present in the car then the badge shouldn't be used, which is totally ignored by most family members of badge holders.
The top one is pulling up with the disabled holder sat in the car then other members leaving them there whilst they go shopping, as I said at the start its a totally broken system and for those genuinely in need it must be very frustrating.
