So with the news this week being the return of Henry to Arsenal and Scholes to Man U, which ex-saint would you like to see return to the club? Obviously they still need to be playing otherwise they wouldn't serve much of a purpose.

In my opinion, Brett Ormerod is out on loan somewhere in League 1 or 2 (I can't remember where, but Bury could be right?). A realistic option who ould do a decent job for us this season

Discuss?

Ormerod is well past it, he can't cut it at Championship level - I would love to see Bale back though!

Yeah we're well short of left backs

We're not short of people asking £90k a week for their services, as I understand it! Ironically, when Bridge left I thought it showed Southampton's lack of ambition. If they bought him back it would show the same, IMO! I can't think of anyone who we could realistically get back here who would improve things.

Bring back Channon, so long as the rules let him play on an 'orse.

There's nothing in the rules to say he can't...

I rate Bridge higher than Fox, given a game or two to sharpen up. And i was making this suggestion on the assumption that City continued to pay all if not most of his wages, obviously
