Why has there never been a Protestant on the board of Celtic?

Ian Livingston, Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board at Celtic is a Jew, from a long-line of Polish-Lithuaninan Jews.

As for the rest of the current Celtic board, including Adrian Filby, Jason Hughes, Tom Allison et al. I have no idea what their religion is. Neither do I care. Their names don't sound to kafflicky it has to be said.

Now shove your argument right up your ****ter you poorly educated mutant <ok>

Yet more diversionary tactics. Didn't you read the list I provided? <doh>

So, back to my (they still won't answer it!) question. Do Celtic supporters have a problem with ethnic football players based on the evidence I have provided.

It's a simple question which I have backed up with my side of the argument well with press links.

So no Protestant?

Well judging by the frequent occurences and the sheer volume of abusers (especially against Walters and Feruz) then it's substantial.

However, I see the attempt to steer the conversation away so I'm not having it.

Yes or no, has your club's supporters with ethnic players?

It's yes or no and based on all the press links I've provided, you only can have one answer

Walters? 25 years ago <laugh>

Feruz? How many racist comments have you read?

"Just hours after it was confirmed that striker Islam Feruz was swapping life at Celtic Park for the riches of Stamford Bridge, the Somali-born 16-year-old has been the victim of vile abuse by angry Celtic fans.

On a Facebook page dedicated to Islam Feruz, hundreds of posts have been aimed at the youngster by disgruntled Celtic fans angered at his apparent dishonouring of Tommy Burns.

One such disgruntled Celtic fan, John Paul Monaghan stated: “Ya dirty wee c***, I hope you have a bad injury and never play fitbaw again ya wee p***k for everything the club has done for you and your family you go and sign for that shower of scumbags, consider yourself no longer part of the celtic family as a player or a fan, greedy wee f***ing p***k, HAIL HAIL.”

Of course not, Dev, of course not <doh>

After our article highlighting the racist and vile abuse aimed at Islam Feruz, after it was officially confirmed that he was leaving Celtic for Chelsea, a report in today’s Scotsman stated that Police are tracing those Celtic supporters who posted vile and racist abuse at the 16-year-old striker.

The article stated: “Hundreds of offensive comments were posted online by people angered by Islam Feruz’s decision to move from the Parkhead club to Chelsea.”

Strathclyde Police and officers from the newly created Football Co-ordination Unit for Scotland are investigating after a number of complaints from fans.

A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said: “We are aware of the comments and the matter is being looked into with the appropriate action being taken by officers.”

After it was announced officially that Feruz was leaving Parkhead, a facebook page dedicated to the player was hit by hundreds of hate-filled comments, including racist comments, while others wished that the youngster gets a serious injury for turning his back on Celtic and for dishonouring Tommy Burns’ memory.

Just the infamous, Juan Ghuy again then <doh>

So no Protestant?

I've no idea. I don't know the religious beliefs of those people and neither do you. Prove that Celtic have never had a Protestant on their Board. We're happy to have anyone of any religion, which was the point I was trying to make.

We don't need to make a big song and dance out of someone's religion.

So just one offensive comment then? Hardly seems endemic. I don't see any sign of Racism either.

With Celtic set to receive a minimal compensation fee, this has enraged some of the clubs fans further.

Peter Mitchell fumed: “Money grabbing c*** I hope your family are proud of u where would they be if it wasnt for celtic and tommy burns ya ungrateful wee d**k.”

While Kev Kerr raged: “You’re a wee d******d Islam. Tommy Burns saved you from cowering from soldiers in a mudhut to give you a chance and you piss all over that mans grave. I’ll never cheer you in Scotlands colours you turncoat p***k.”

The level of abuse aimed at the 16-year-old footballer mirrors that aimed at Irish international Liam Miller who enraged the Celtic fans for choosing the riches of Manchester United over life at Celtic Park.

However the abuse has intensified from comments like ‘Judas, traitor and turncoat’ to derogatory and racist abuse. One hate-filled individual, Lynne Williams, said on Feruz moving to Chelsea: “This has confirmed one thing – you can’t trust Africans.”

Shay Kerins stated: “Your a scum bag, we fought for you to keep you in the country! wish you stayed in somalia, and get r***d by some pirate!”

Tommy Burns, the man dubbed Mr Celtic, would be turning in his grave over the abuse that his former protegé was receiving at the hands of those so-called Celtic fans, who he adored.

A Celtic spokesperson was unavailable for comment.

Truly shocking. Another 3 people used racist language.

That's 4 of them now.

I'm beginning to think you may be right, FOUR whole fans.

Maybe we should get UEFA onto this right away.

Prove that Rangers didn't sign (they did anyway <doh>) Catholics because they just weren't any good at football according to those respective managers in charge?

I take it he has no proof to back up his claim of stating Celtic have never had a Protestant on the Board so has, in classic online forum style, simply chosen to ignore the subject.

I shall leave him to his one man quest to paint all Celtic fans as racists and bigots in a futile attempt to deflect attention away from the imminent death of the club he supports.

G'night dafty.
