Who is the man who killed Rangers FC?

Normal tactics? The question (which none of you have answered directly) is whether Celtic have an issue with black people. I have totally substantiated my ascertion that you do, yet you blindly refuse to accept it, but instead, divert to Rangers.

A deaf and dumb, blind kid could see that we have the bigger problem? I'm sorry, but wasn't the most recent case to do with Kyle Bartley and Islam Feruz being racially abused?

Oh, I was right, how dare I be right <doh>

Nah, we've signed loads of them.

Has Rangers ever had a policy of not signing players because of, let's say, their religion?

If you want to apportion the bulk of blame based on topicality, then you are 100% right when it comes to Islam. He I believe was racially abused, Bartley I don't know about but if they both received racist abuse from thousands of Celtic fans then I would agree we have a problem with Racism.

Despicable but hardly surprising considering we have a lot of morons who follow our club. Same as most clubs, it is a tiny minority.

As stated earlier, Rangers had Catholic players before Celtic even existed.

So, are you going to answer the question, no-one seems to want to despite the burden of proof?

Then you had a policy of not signing them for decades. Were you one of the ones burned your season book when Maurice signed?

I suppose we don't really have to concern ourselves too much though, when Rangers eventually die, then the history of the fans will die with the Club history. Maybe a clean slate is the best thing?

I doubt it will remain clean for long though if they find themselves visiting the 3rd Division grounds around Scotland. At least Europe should be of no concern for the next few years.

<laugh>

Oh, so the death of Rangers is the death of bigotry and racism then is it?

Right... <doh>

Even Jimmy Steel the Kit man refused to touch Le Merde's gear. Hatred for Kaffliks was institutional so his attitude was not only tolerated, it was the subject of humour and back slappery.

"For years Rangers have been pilloried for what the majority of people saw as discrimination against one section of the population. Now we have shown that this unwritten policy at Ibrox is over. It's finished. Done with."

Graeme Souness 1989

How can it be over if it never happened Dave?

Catholics who signed for Rangers before Johnston include, before the end of World War I: Pat Lafferty (1886), Tom Dunbar (1891–1892), J Tutty (1899–1900), Archie Kyle (1904–1908), Willie Kivlichan (1906–1907), Colin Mainds (1906–1907), Tom Murray (1907–1908), William Brown (1912), Joe Donnachie (circa.1914–1918) and John Jackson (1917). Thereafter, Catholic players prior to Mo Johnston's signing include: Laurie Blyth (1951–1952), Don Kitchenbrand (1955–1956), Hugh O'Neill (1976), John Spencer (1985–1992) (Bill Murray, The Old Firm – Sectarianism, Sport and Society in Scotland (John Donald Publishers, 1984) pp 64–5

Now why hasn't there been a Protestant on the board of Celtic?

Well judging by the frequent occurences and the sheer volume of abusers (especially against Walters and Feruz) then it's substantial.

However, I see the attempt to steer the conversation away so I'm not having it.

Yes or no, has your club's supporters with ethnic players?

It's yes or no and based on all the press links I've provided, you only can have one answer <ok>

So you signed four 'catholics' in 71 years including periods of 33 years, 20 years and 9 years where there was not one single Catholic was on Ranger's books <doh>

Aye, you were the very model of the all-inclusive society eh? <laugh>
