Match Preview;

Blackpool have won 3 and lost 2 of their last five...with their latest result being a 0-1 loss to Stoke City. They sit 10th, so 5 places but only 1 point behind us. Their top scorer is Shayne Lavery, with 7 goals...but they have only scored 18 so far this season, which is the second lowest in the top half of the table (only Milwall (16) have scored less). They have conceded 19, so 4 less than us...mainly due to their defensive acquisition in the last transfer window, a certain Richard Keogh. If you are there, don't miss the chance for a a cry or two of 'Oh Bobby Zamora!!!'. Poor bloke. It was seven years ago, and he's probably moved on from his error. Good job I haven't.

As for us, after a good win away at Cardiff, we sit 5, top of a group of three teams all on 27 points. Chair and Dykes lead the way for us, with 6 goals each, but it was very encouraging to see Gray get the winner, with a nice finish, against Cardiff, but he then left the field with an injury. I know it is still early days, but another win will help us cement our place in the top six, and it'll be great to go into the busy Christmas period with some good form behind us.

Team News
QPR: Lee Wallace, Sam McCallum and Charlie Owens will all miss out for the R’s.

Blackpool: Grant Ward, Chris Maxwell and Shayne Lavery may all miss out.

Pre-match Talk
Mark Warburton (QPR manager): “Blackpool have togetherness, unity and a tremendous work ethic. They press hard and are very good at what they do. There is no doubt that this will be a very tough challenge – even though it’s one we’re looking forward to."

Neil Critchley (Blackpool manager): “That’s the Championship, it’s another tough game. These are the challenges we want.

“They’ve had a good win in midweek against Cardiff. They play in a similar way to Stoke and they’ve got good players too."

I know there's not that many Irish R's on here these days but if anyone happens to find themselves in Waterford this weekend there is a meet up taking place in The Mansion House bar for this game.........

Here's a link to their facebook page where if you scroll down you'll see a photo of some of the lads who were in there for the Forest game......
