Apparently he's staying with us, and not going back to Norwich for treatment. Better for him, the psychological effect of being surrounded by a bunch of week-in, week-out losers up there will do him no good at all.
Field is in the squad for tomorrow, hope we're not rushing him back. Wallace could also possibly be in the squad. Chair has received 2 whacks I 2 games and is being assessed as is Gray, others are doubtful or definitely missing ! Squad is threadbare now
Is anyone else a fan of Batteche? I actually rate him and think he could grow into the team. Good at holding but also creative.
The last time he played, he actually looked quite good in that defensive role. I don't get why we sent him on loan when we have almost no cover in that position.
I like him, thought he would get a go at some stage this season especially with the Field injury. Is he not out on loan somewhere, can't understand why not if he's not gonna be used at all. Don't see him getting a game now with Field returning and Dozell starting to improve. Definitely needs to go on loan in January and gain some game time, strange.
