I know there was a bit of a ruckus but the more likely reason was that we did not exit the way we came in. So our fans were going the wrong way then being goaded by the home fans. I wasn't close enough to see if that was the entire story but it's a significant part for sure. Eventually an announcement was made over the tannoy as to which way they had to leave. My mate and I stayed in our seats and were amongst the very last to vacate the stadium.
There were definitely louder Pozzo Out chants as things got worse, directly behind me though a few rows back. I'm still firmly in the pro Pozzo camp but that's not immovable.
There were some pretty awful performances there, chief amongst them Kayembe who in my opinion might as well have been playing in orange. That affected Kamara badly. As to Kabasele in that video, he's got form.
That was as poor a second half of football as I've witnessed from any Watford side.
At the end the players couldn't face us. On their haunches some of them, all with their backs turned. WTE passed his shirt to a kid and looked embarrassed and sad. I rather suspect he wants to be at Watford and do well here: I think he's a fan.
I had to bite my tongue a few times, there are too many fans who think we should win every game, too many players who think the same without putting in the requisite effort, too many folks who have forgotten where we've come from and where we could have been. There's quite the malady at the moment and I'm not sure what the cure is.
