That's as it should be with a fully confident team! Bloody hell, even I scored a goal in my amateur days, and that was my left foot, and I aint got a left foot!
**** yeah, 3-0 at the half.
Blackpool were all over us in the first ten minutes, understandable as they are the home team. We then started to get hold of the ball and began playing our game, with some good passing and movement.
First goal was a cross from Edwards met on the volley by Chambers for a shot that went rising into the net. Second goal was a quick move from our half through the centre of the field that ended with Edwards sweeping a goal in at the near post. Third goal was a slip from a Blackpool player, everyone thought it would be a foul but no flag and then I think it was Chambers who got the ball to Bishop who carried the ball forward, jinked a couple of times and passed a curling shot in at the far post.
We are enjoyable to watch this season, we actually look like a team that has been coached in a style of play. If we can continue like this we'll be promoted.
