CAFCPlayer commentary tells you so little about what's actually happening in the game, it's quite frustrating as chances and goals come from nowhere Having said that, so far it sounds like we're playing OK
Yes. I like those guys and it is OK to talk about other stuff when nothing much is happening but then they forget to return to the action. Keeping us well informed about Gillingham, though. Sounds like a good game and a good performance against experienced players. Scunthorpe have scored. Can anyone guess the scorer?
And Stoke. And Norwich. I would switch to the opposition commentary but I can't get into the hang of being happy when they're disappointed and vice versa. Duffy?
Sounds like Stephens fancies a move to Blackburn. I feel a lot more confident with Hollands back. Gives Stephens and Jackson licence to play and create. We are playing 4-5-1 like grown-ups. If we can get Fuller back to share the single striker spot with BWP in future matches, this could work.
For so long now we've complained about not being dominant enough in midfield, even when winning games comfortably. I wonder if playing 4-5-1 with that extra man will help us in that regard
It will help us to avoid to avoid relegation. But to help us challenge for a promotion play-off place we will need Fuller for at least 50% of playing time, and better wingers than Green and Kerkar and get the ball out to them more. And our other weakness has just been illustrated. Jackson is a crock. Kermit's return will solve that problem but that is some way off.
The BBC have us down with 20% possession. Is that true 'cos it sounds like we're under the cosh big time.
Quite the opposite: 16 shots to their 6. 8 on target to their 3. 5 corners to their 1. 6 fouls to their 11.
Happy with a point with Fuller, Kermorgant, and Wiggins unavailable, three of our best players. Even happier with the performance.
Sounded like we played well in the end, and as both the BBC and Sky are unable to provide sensible full time scores, I assume the 20% thing was just a mistake.
Listened to the game commentary in a bar in Valletta whilst watching every premiership game live (bloomin brilliant). Sounds like we were the better side throughout. Disappointing that it sounds like we still are missing a cutting edge- my old man has text to say BWP struggled with his hold up play but impressive otherwise. I'll put this down to fuller being absent, and we would have won by a clear 4 goals on another day. Reading on twitter that ethuhu may well have been offside. Can anyone clarify?
What a performance, still not quite figured out how we didn't win that one... Thought every player on the pitch was worthy of praise, but Solly was truly outstanding, hope there weren't any premier league scouts in the crowd today. Big praise must also go to the two centre backs who kept Nuno Gomes and Rhodes almost silent all game, and Stephens and Hollands who controlled the game. Only the post, players on the line and some top Robinson saves denied us today, and if we play like that every week we'll be more than comfortable this season.
We played very well kerchar and green were our two best players for me Blackburn were awful to be honest the worst side to visit the valley this season by far two points lost for us IMO
