When Masky was around 15, a Bristol Rovers scout (coach), knocked on my parents house in Canton (now called Pontcanna)! “Come for a trial” he said and I did….played for a while alongside Frankie Prince and Peter Higgins. Both went on to play league football! Now at my time of life, and it comes as a bitter blow to accept that my chances of playing for Manchester Utd are not realistic now….have to go now….talk later! :emoticon-0103-cool: Masky

Well you’ve got no chance of signing for Crystal Palace then.

Don’t be like that Irish, “like what” I hear you retort….”a dicksplash” I answer sternly, and not without a small amount of aggression! Any plans for you and I to have a Guinness supper are now abandoned due to my emotional flooding of the area! May your todge be severed, all two inches and returned to West Skibereen….no insurance required! :emoticon-0103-cool: Masky

I’m a North Belfast boy Maskey, I’ll have you know. Represented the Belfast League when we travelled to play the Dublin league, under 16’s. But I’ll still buy you a Guinness if and when you want.

Kind of you pal, and a pickled onion one hopes, no offence was caused by this incident! :emoticon-0103-cool: Masky
