Suggests to me that other than the first teamers, Vieira etc, (and all being bang on form) none of the back-up, (nessy, Klich) are good enough to beat even the bottom teams. Said at the start, you don’t treat teams like this in this division you are due a **** up.

Correct. We have half a squad. Thankfully January sales are only two days away

What’s point of making playoffs if we’re not going to have a real chance of winning them. That display today was rubbish against an awful Birmingham team. Once again, little or no options to spring from the bench except Saiz. Goalkeeper is a joke and you can quote whatever stats you like. He’s not fit for any championship team. A calamity waiting to happen. We’re basically operating with no striker or goalkeeper at the club. That was a golden chance to close in on second spot if we were any good
Spot on Eire as I posted yesterday don't think we'll spend in January were just hoping to scrape into the playoffs mission accomplished for rads this season. The trouble is playoffs are a gamble and were **** in pressure games. We cannot keep bringing in 10 bob players from abroad and hope to get out of this league. It's getting harder each season and is fast becoming premier league 2. We've got a big decision to make were either gonna splash the cash and go for it or limp along hope to make the playoffs and hope everyone renews their season tickets in the hope that next season will be the one we go up. I'm afraid I'm running out of steam with it all been going since 1978 and have introduced my youngest to it in the past 10 years but it just feels were further away than ever at the moment.

Afternoon all, just got back from a delivery to Liverpool and a collection in Cheshire, roads not half as bad as I had feared.

I’m expecting very little change to the squad, maybe a return for Phillips in place of O’Kane (would he dare rest Vieira?) and Saiz starting, it will be interesting to see who Saiz replaces, for me Cibicki on the bench and Alioski back on the right side
its nice to take the piss after an awful performance like today , here is what should have happened today

Was having a look for player ratings having not seen any of the game, it sounds like it was a real stinker for us, the majority of the team receiving 4 or 5 out of 10 but according to many Cibicki had a real stinker, I'm guessing he will be dropped for the next game and we will have Alioski reverted back to the right.

Pawel Cibicki (Wide forward) 3/10: Hardly had an opportunity to make an impact as Birmingham dominated the first-half. Cibicki kept swapping positions with Hernandez in order to be able to put quality crosses into the box, but his side just didn’t see enough of the ball before he was subbed after an abysmal display.

Or this one...

Pawel Cibicki - Given 55 minutes but didn’t cause City much grief and Leeds, unsurprisingly, carried more of a threat with Saiz on the pitch. 4/10

Friggin A, well said Eire,i personally think theirs no better chance of promotion than this season, wolves will win title,2nd place is anybodies who wants it enough.DO LEEDS AND THEIR OWNERS WANT IT ENOUGH,that's what you gotta ask yourself, cause you can bet your hat Derby/Bristols/Cardiffs do.
We will see our intent in January & if nothing new,i think we will languish in this league for a good few seasons yet.RANT OVER:emoticon-0141-whew:
