And I hope that he's a unicorn whose droppings are gold nuggets. Billy's a lovely guy. He's in no way going to be playing absolute blinders in the Premier League, and the only reason he's still with the club is that we've literally been unable to give him away to lower-division clubs.

.....because he won't accept a wage drop, which (for some good reasons I would add) suggest to me that his football career isn't actually his number one priority.

Only because we haven't tried to give him to St Albans yet.

I'm not saying he's a replacement for Lambert, just someone we can stick on in the final 10 minutes to grab a goal. He's a poacher.

A poacher who hasn't scored well in the Championship for two years, let alone the Prem. Can't we just bring Barnard back to do the same thing?
 
I wish he was better/more committed. Much as I wish Jos was better. I wish I was a better footballer too. Sadly that's not really enough........
 
What is it about Saints fans?

They see someone with limited talent like Sharp and they think he is great.

They see someone with great skill like Guly and they think he is crap.

I despair.

Both where great for lower leagues, but not good enough for Prem.
