Doesn't this picture just scream 'ME, ME, ME, ME'

Self centred, self seeking, disgusting individual.

No one around in that picture to boo you, like thousands did at Wembley. Remember that day you cretin, because as you continue to trample on people on your way up, you will meet many of them on your way down. You will crash and burn in years to come - guaranteed.
I just don't understand why John is on holiday with him.

He'll probably donate in the name of Allamhouse or Allam Marine and the whole amount will come off his tax bill.

But surely that would still mean he loses out financially overall
If he hadn’t donated he would have just have paid corporation tax on the additional profit, so he’s still ‘worse off’ even if he decides that it is a small price to pay for the continuing clamber for something in the Queen’s honours?

(you’ll be able to tell this isn’t my specialist subject, but I am interested for business and personal reasons)

As an individual in the UK, I don't think you beat the system by donating to charity (might be different as a corporate entity). If you are a higher rate tax payer then you can (with risk) beat the system by buying into VCTs.

Its only partly about reducing his tax bill but mainly about buying a knighthood - as most of the money comes from the sale of players and parachute money any recognition belongs to Hull City AFC

“Losing the Hull City friendly is a massive blow to us financially and it’s a shame they can’t make it work to help out a local community club in need,” explains Chadwick.

New owner of North Ferriby United Carl Chadwick
“One game like that wouldn’t sort out the debts, but it would give us a cash flow for the first few months that allows us to build from and then we can start to repay people. It’s a big game for clubs like us, but also a prestige game that fans of both clubs love too. We’ll move on, see what we can do and keep fighting.”

He seems like a decent bloke...

Being 450 mile around trip away my priority will be away games. But it could be first time since 64-65 that I may not go to any home games. Very sad.

You can get started early if you're serious, they need help.

"There is another volunteering day this coming Saturday, and probably for every Saturday until the end of June.

If you could sparea couple of hours on any of those Saturdays, your help will be greatly appreciated.

Light refreshments will be available

If you are coming, could you please bring any of the the following:-

Scrubbing brushes for floors, cleaning cloths, old cloths forn use while painting, paint brushes, rollers and trays for emulsion and gloss, extension poles for rollers, dustpans and brushes, sweeping brushes and shovels, buckets, wire brushes, stepladders, hedge trimming equipment, garden debris bags, sand paper.

And of course yourselves. Give it a go you might enjoy yourself! At least the company will be good."
No way could i go but would love to donate to some of that stuff.
Anyone know where i could send a cheque.
