He suffered an injury for quite some time and was replaced, so they couldn't guarantee him starts.

The window for the Championship closes later, so it;s possible we could loan him to someone else. Which begs the question: Whose back four would be improved by having Khumalo in it?

I'd always thought that the loan window for Football League clubs was only open later than the summer window and ended on the January transfer window.
