SPOTY tonight and its good to see its not just the usual suspects up for the award, though I expect one of the 3 high profile 'personalities' to win. As for team of the year only 1 winner and this will be controversial but is not the Lionesses - it has to the England (mens) cricketers who have had an unbelievable year.

I remember around 25 years ago the gutter press harrumphing that he was selling his World Cup winner's medal, and at least one (if in doubt, assume The Sun) started mouthing off that he was a passenger in the final

Apparently looking to secure your wife's financial future after you've had multiple cancer scares is irrelevant if the red tops can sow fears of a 1966 winner's medal being bought by someone French

I know Talk Sport can be pretty bad but I have gone there because the alternatives were running out and right now Dean Saunders is on. Love him, says it how it is and no bullshit.

I like Danny Kelly, the two (ones a Chelsea fan and one is a spurs fan) who do an afternoon show and max Rushden with Barry Glendening on a Saturday and Sunday morning but find the rest a radio version of click bait designed to get people to phone in. Ain't listened for ages tbh...any radio station with Cundy, Simon Jordan, Agbonlahor and Ohara to name just a few has issues

Other than the ones you listed, I find it impossible to listen to. It is an unending procession of stupidity...like ITV or The Sun.

Talksport ain’t that bad. The like was for your last sentence.
I can cope with chat about sport - however inane. I can’t hack ITV or The Sun.
I could listen to Atherton and Hussain talk about cricket for hours. It’s a shame football doesn’t have commentators of similar standing.
 
Our 4th place is looking increasingly insecure. We need to find some proper form or 5th & 6th if not 7th is more likely.

It’s been increasingly insecure for weeks/ months to be honest. Conte’s been doing his best to make sure of that. We just need to thank Kane, Hojbjerg and Bentancur that they’re doing their best to prevent the decline.
