They'll say they can't play their fixture, and the opposition won't be able to find an alternative date and the games will be forfeited. After all , there is a precedent.

I don't think that Conte had any interest remaining in the Eurovision Song Contest and any 'protest' from Levy was lukewarm at best. That allowed UEFA to do it. Boehly and Kroenke will scream bloody murder, if they have it done to them.

I've no idea but if there's a harsh January/February, after the WC, this season may never finish.
I think it might be more to do with policing.
Once the London-based matches would've been pulled, then the pressure extends to the others.
Fulham v Chelsea, Arsenal v Everton, West Ham v Newcastle and Palace v Utd this weekend.
That's a massive chunk of the fixtures.

Ypu can always rely on the FA to make the wrong decision. Whether that be refusing to give the England job to Brian Clough or Harry Redknapp or allowing the Saudis and various 'dubious' (my word of the day) assorted other billionaires to take over the league.

Hmm bad choice for a monarchist! Who was the King? Yep King Charles and look what happened to him. Cromwell, like all dictators, undermined all the reasons for the war in the first place, once he got a taste of power. And who lost out? Yes The Levellers otherwise known as the people. Progress will only be made once we get rid of the monarchy again and this time replace it with a properly elected parliament. Whether we actually need any kind of 'leader' is a debate that's needed. If we decide we do then I nominate Mick Lynch.
