I had it down to the overwhelming volume of online excitement at Spurs agreeing a deal for 19 year old Juan Foyth after 2 months of negotiations.

I gave up wumming a while back - those wum-guns have probably gone a little rusty, now.

However, it could well be the case that Pixie's fear that I would unleash the mother of all wums that caused the site to glitch and shut down.
 
Anyone else been getting emails re: posting updates since the site came back up? Preferences are set correctly - and reset - but no difference!! ****ing annoying <grr>

I'm only getting ad banners when I use my phone. The PC seems fine. Still annoying as Mr Fat Fingers over here keeps pressing them accidentally instead of scrolling down to see the latest transfer horror story.

I managed to fix this by logging out of my account, restarting the site, logged back in and unchecked the box in my Preferences settings. Seems to be fine now - give that a go. I get so much ****e in my spam folder I could do without receiving emails informing me that "PISKIE replied to your post".

LOL. The advertising isn't particularly targeted. I had a "littlewoods" one earlier. - I thought they went out of the business in the 90's?
