Anyone else been getting emails re: posting updates since the site came back up? Preferences are set correctly - and reset - but no difference!! ****ing annoying
No to the emails, yes to an ad banner. Sometimes at the top, sometimes at the bottom. ****ing annoying.
I'm only getting ad banners when I use my phone. The PC seems fine. Still annoying as Mr Fat Fingers over here keeps pressing them accidentally instead of scrolling down to see the latest transfer horror story. I managed to fix this by logging out of my account, restarting the site, logged back in and unchecked the box in my Preferences settings. Seems to be fine now - give that a go. I get so much ****e in my spam folder I could do without receiving emails informing me that "PISKIE replied to your post".
I could've sworn I just saw one pop up that was looking for a 'Room to rent in the Greater Manchester area', posted by Alex something. Or maybe it was Alexis. I couldn't see it so well.
