It hadn't finished. My wife is feeling nauseated. She call's her sister (a doctor) at 11 30pm and I'm sent out to find an all night chemist.I finally find one, pick up the prescription and come home.Could I sleep ? Hell NO! So I switch on the tell and watch Sister Act. Well, that made me feel better!!!!!? YOU'D BETTER WIN SPURS!
Oh dear, you won't forget your 80th in a hurry! Please SPURS win tomorrow to give Smithy something to smile about (and the rest of us ) Sorry your wife is still unwell, hope she improves soon.
Thank you Maggie. We will be moving soon to a one storey house that is pretty much "open" and she can glide around in her chair.Still in Lexington,Ky.I guess this will be the last one "cause I'm bloody old!!!! Why does everything cost money?
Well, you got the 2nd half of your present Smithy from the lads Top of the table for at least a couple of of hours COYS
Looks like we've got a bit lucky with Hobjberg. If he had to go to Denmark he would have had to isolate for 14 days on return as there are no elite sports exemptions to the new rule imposed after the Covid in mink development. But their first match is a friendly and he is suspended for the second so he is being allowed to join them just for the match in Belgium.
You have to laugh at this! top 10 players in the league for each position, as voted for by bbc sport readers. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54867591 The only one of our players to feature... Son. Kane comes 12th for strikers I didn’t realise we boiled the piss of so many fans of other clubs! how hojbjerg isn’t in that top 10 MF’s... the guy should be in the top 3!! it’s comical
I don't think its anything to do with knowledge its purely about the sort of people who bother with the BBC as their source of football information. An awful lot of very bitter and very childish people on the 'have your says' and this translates into these ratings, its very noticeable that there are very few players from the traditional big six teams in any of the lists but lots of players from the so called 'nice teams' who have started the season well.
The fact so many Leicester and Southampton players feature says which set of fans are the most bitter and/or childish
I suspect that the presence of Winks would be a trap to try and identify those with serious cognitive mental issues.
I don't think it's that bad, to be honest. It's based on player rating for individual games and we've not played well in most of ours. Hojbjerg and Kane have been consistently good, but has anyone else? Son did well in a number of our early games, but he's been poor in the last few. We've won games when we haven't played well and failed to win games when we have, which will give odd scores. Vestergaard got murdered in few games, so I've no idea why he's up there, but Southampton and Leicester have generally played well. Mendy's ratings are probably boosted a bit by the contrast to Kepa, who was objectively awful. Neutrals are also more likely to be kind with their ratings to underdogs and we're rarely that nowadays. Rodrigo's one goal and no assists being above Kane's seven goals and eight assists is quite funny, though!
Remember that Kane starts with a 'penalty weighting' of -10, because his standard is so consistently high that he would always finish top (gotta give the others the hope they can make it ) .
Anyone got any suggestions on good freezer food management ?? Going to do a full defrost of mine and I have a lorry load of stuff in there that while I can tell you the "best before" month, I cannot vouch for the year. The vendors say freeze and then defrost/eat no later than one month after, but I have eaten food several months after that (possibly much longer ) . I was thinking of (for my 4 shelf freezer) doing something like : - New stuff goes into the bottom shelf - Each calendar month rotate the contents one shelf upwards - Stuff in the top shelf must be eaten that month Any tips etc will be appreciated.
Quite right. Player ratings for each match will mostly come from fans of the player's club. We all know that our fans think our players are bad despite all the evidence to the contrary.
Far from the problem. More a case of hoarding (effectively bread + dessert) stuff that was reduced price sales on the day, then me forgetting all about them (hence the month/year comment) . Just need a better regime for ensuring that whatever in there is no more than N months old (as the vendors do not label the year as they do on tins etc) .
