Sky favourites Spurs on the box again!
Can you blame them!!!
Sky favourites Spurs on the box again!
Sky favourites Spurs on the box again!
Only one of Utd's last 4 games has been on TV.
Only one of last nine on Sky. (Two of last nine on ESPN)
Spurs are the new Sky darlings.
Does this make Luke a liar or just misinformed about his other club?
4/9 so far with Wigan kicking off at 3pm on Boxing Day makes 5/9.
The only home fixtures moved for TV- Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and City. Hardly surprising!
Have I missed the point?
No team's Boxing Day fixture was on a Saturday as it fell on a Monday, but Utd's was played at the scheduled time and not moved for TV.
Spurs haven't played too many at 3pm on Saturday.
It's all a matter of opinion, PNP.
Aside from the freakish result v City where Evans was sent off and they scored three in injury time, we've let in 8 goals in 17 games. Teams who shut out the opposition consistently are not what the TV companies want. They show Liverpool v Newcastle forever hoping for another 4-3 game.
I thought Spurs played well tonight, but it wasn't a great spectacle for the neutral as the result was never in doubt. Ditto v Villa. Spurs did enough, but there was no goalfest.
8-2 v Arsenal, 1-6 v City, 3-0 v Spurs and 3-1 v Chelsea were fantastic spectacles for different reasons.
The televised games at WBA, QPR and Liverpool had plenty of incident too.
I think Sky viewers get their money's worth from United.

Well done. I was moved to comment myself.
You could at least have said something worthwhile!![]()

No team would want to play Spurs at present, especially when you've a team's worth of injuries. However, Chelsea showed that whilst destroyers of lesser teams, Spurs still have work to do when your opponents are good enough to keep possession of the ball and put you under some pressure.
I hope Spurs are in form for the trip to City on 22nd Jan. At least one team has to drop points! Better it's them, but can King, Parker and the rest contain Silva and co this time?![]()
What I have to say is always worthwhile, Spurf![]()
