To paraphrase Wikipedia: Brown was charged with felony assault and making criminal threats. He was arraigned on April 6, 2009, and pleaded not guilty to one count of assault and one count of making criminal threats. On June 22, 2009, Brown pleaded guilty to a felony and accepted a plea deal of community labor, five years' formal probation and domestic violence counseling.
Reports state that Tom Daley's funding has been cut from £1m a year to £750k. That's appalling. Somebody gets paid 750 grand of taxpayer's money a year just to fall off a plank of wood?
LOL, but regardless, it goes to show how much of the "legacy" talk is just a complete load of bullshit. funding started to get the chop about 2-3 years ago, and it will continue, despite how well we did in the Olympics.
Why does he need that much? He'll never beat the chinese. Surely he just needs enough to train every day and to go to all the tournaments. Surely £100k would cover it? Isn't it lotto money? Yep. Great British performance rather than a lame Scottish one
In your face to all the people on the old BBC 606 Tennis site who said he would never win one. Great performance.
Trouble is Daley doesn't really give a **** about diving and to be fair, it's a daft sport to be passionate about. Make him pay for his training and competing, he'll lose interest and go into full time celebrity mode. There are plenty of others that could at very least contribute to their expenditures in the sport too but it's a can of worms that we don't want to open because medals are all important.
That ****er Stimac still whinging about Levy and broken promises in SSN interview...who does Modric play for you thick Croatian twat?
No idea why he's still talking about Spurs, though. The supposedly broken promise (Spurs would sell Modric to Real) actually went through, so the only thing he should be doing with regards to the club is offering an apology to Levy.
Looking at it with a global perspective Igor Stimac is less important and intelligent than a wrinkle on my right ballbag.
