Anyone else impressed by Harry on MOTD? No bitterness, honest opinions and as Tots said, confident we would be 4th. Started off clearly with "they" but a few "we" were dropped . Overall, very impressed by how dignified he was.
yep, i agree. When i heard he was on i almost didn't watch it as i didn't want to hear "i would've done this/that" etc. But none of it, top job 'arry
I think Harry has put a bit of 'tongue in cheek' pressure on us for 4th again, I really doubt he's serious, I can't see it anyway.
poor AVB just isn't going to get a chance at this rate. I feel really sorry for the bloke and really can't wait for him to turn things round and prove people wrong. look at what's trending on twitter at No1. as if the media needed more Ammo.
I can recall Bill having a hard time his first season.Keith did too....and took us down to Div 2 before rebounding. But I don't remember those teams, when they have the ball on the edge of the opposition penalty area play three passes back to their own half. The wingers would collect the ball and go for the touchline. Now the winger picks up the ball, passes it backwards, gets the return then passes sideways with the opposing team having plenty of time to get back and get the ball. Bale and Lennon used to go for the touchline.Lately we don't see it! I thought Defoe was going to come good this season but he's still that 13 year old boy playing for his school team running about lost.I suppose a little service from his wingers wouldn't hurt. He's too small and lightweight to be on his own!
I heard when Vertonghen signed he asked what the nightlife was like here. After being told how good the bars are, he asked what about comedy clubs, "yes, there's one down the road and and a really big one in Liverpool!"
The #avbsfault hashtag was a spoof started by Spurs fans supporting AVB. Each #avbsfault couldn't possibly be his fault, i.e. John Terry racially abusing Anton Ferdinand #avbsfault One Direction at the Olympic Closing ceremony #avbsfault Liverpool in the relegation zone #avbsfault There is probably more support for AVB on twitter by Spurs fans than anywhere, it's just a few dodgy old crap journos on Talk ****e who are trying to put the boot in together with Rodney Marsh (from a family of goons). Even Daniel Levy gets a fair bit of support. Brenda and the mousers board are the ones that get most of the ****e thrown at them.
Bentley's gone out on loan! Some side called rustov in Russia. Only downside it that it's only till Jan.
The Spurs squad on the bbc has Button as 1 of the 3 goalkeepers and no Gomes. Thats a mistake right? Its got Dembele (as a striker) so it has been updated recently. Also missing Dempsey. All in all, its pretty shoddy.
West Ham and City have their deadline day deals in yet we're still missing Lloris and Dempsey, whilst Button(sold before Dembele signed), GDS and VDV should all be gone. How ther've managed to delete Gomes, who hasn't gone anywhere, is a total mystery. The BBC really are **** sometimes
News report on the radio today mentioned Chris Brown and Rihanna's possible reconciliation at the MTV Awards. The same Chris Brown that inflicted this upon the singer: please log in to view this image Next song on immediately afterwards? Britney Spears - Hit Me Baby One More Time! Classy!
Having heard Chris Brown's music, I find myself wishing that the fist was on the other face, frankly.
