They didn't even try to get stuck in, didn't seem pissed off at losing and it looks like Hughes is managing them.

I think he gone after they lose their next 6 pointer, especially if its a heavy defeat.

Hes holding out for a payoff

I wish managers had to have a clause in their contract which states that they can be sacked without a payoff if they fall to x position in the table.

All good and well, but who in their right mind would sign a contract like that.

The outcome for all EPL players and managers is win-win.

If the team fail - there's a pay out to the manager - if the team succeed - there's continuing income at £2m+ per year.

The bubble that is football just goes on growing - the antithesis of any other business model worldwide.

It should be mandatory, as should relegation wage cuts for players.

As a football manager, you get more money for failing (contract paid up plus new job) than succeeding which is insane.

That's true. Mad isn't it?
Big Sam seems quite cheerful really and I am not surprised.

I never wanted him before but hanging on for a payoff when the team has just given up should put any club off lasting him. It won't though as they still employ killers and rapists.

I think being a ***** is the only thing that would put all clubs off employing a player but even then, I'm sure that wouldn't matter if it was someone of RVP/Suarez ability.

Id hate to see that little pixie in the PL.

We arent going up anyway if we drop enough points to let forest overtake us as other teams will catch up too.

Forget about Forest. No chance of a automatic spot, not good enough. Play-off place at best.

Which backs up my point. Its like Everton bring worried about Saints beating them to a CL place. If Saints beat them, 4-5 other teams will be ahead of them too so they arent really relevant.

Alan Brazil said this morning he'd heard Harry to West Ham and Zola to us. Ok if he was player manager but I don't rate him as just a manager...

Pixies are female. I think you must mean Goblin. I looked up the word and found this:

"Goblins have been classified as constantly annoying little creatures somewhat related to the brownie and gnome. They are usually depicted as small, sometimes only a few inches tall, sometimes the size of a dwarf. They are also very greedy and love money."

Now that fits, doesn't it!

What about bringing Taarabt back - Harry to West Ham United - and Paulo Di Canio as QPR boss.
