He will only turn up as someone else, don't really see the point in banning him, as much of a clown that he is.

Better off just ignoring him (easier said than done !)
 
I honestly think that people are taking big_ chris's articles far too seriously...In my opinion his articles are firmly tongue in cheek and are not designed to be taken seriously...

Problem is MrRAW, his articles you can ignore if you dont like them, its his comments that break up threads that are getting people annoyed
 
Good decision, that guy was keeping me away, I just can't stand him ruining interesting threads with ridiculous comments.
 
It's probably my vision of Chris as a sad and lonely chap, who get's a little comfort from his alternative cyber identity actually managing to get some attention, which makes me feel a little sorry for him...:emoticon-0106-cryin
 
That's the whole point to me, his threads everyone knew what they would get on entering them.
His inane posts in other threads were becoming tiresome though and also disruptive.
He was better at it than the Mags FFS!
 
He was a tosser. Well, still IS a tosser, I suppose. But the problem was his relentless "I'm in the know" routine which got sooooo boring. A bit of wumming we can all handle, but the drip drip drip of his patter was like chinese water torture.

We know your (and the other mods views) that this site should be self regulating <applause> but at times the "nuclear option" has to be taken.

We know we will get posters who seek to annoy/antagonise/wind up, but generally this is only once in a while. The difference between these occasional posters and BC was that he/she/it had it as their SOLE aim <steam>, . The line has to be drawn somewhere and it is in the INTENT where the difference lies, imo.

After 3 days he/she/it will return and I can foresee no difference so why not go the whole hog eh?

IMO, I want a permanent ban.

I was born a long way outside the SR1 post code.
Where was the perimiter of his exclusion zone? I don't believe that he ever defined it.
