Not really just put players in their correct positions and leave them there. Like james as a winger and rodrigo up top.

I think the timing for a change was right. We have a full week training ahead of us before Leicester next Saturday and then it's 4 games in 13 days or something.
Apparently the wingers are the 10’s with freedom to roam. So guessing that will be Raphinha and James.
I also learnt he is quite direct and likes the long ball up to the forwards. Unfortunately our forwards are all 3ft 6.

Just got to get on with it then and show some fight. Wonder if any u23s will get a chance. You can be sure a new coach will have been watching loads of videos of both teams, at Leeds. He will have a pretty good idea of our strengths. A big plus for me is no favourites like you know who.

Radz is a businessman before a football fan, we can’t knock him for it. Under Bates and Cellino and GFH we just cried out to be run properly. Our league position and results would have scared him, I expect a full 49ers takeover if we avoid relegation

I was thinking this yesterday, I suspect the delay is the amount of backroom staff to get through and the interpreter. It will be very interesting to see the players response to the new guy. There will be some glad he has gone others not so. Just like FB and the forums with the fans, I hope it doesn’t divide the team too much and that they can quickly get over it

We have to also consider the possibility that Bielsa has had a meeting with the board, he has realised that he doesn’t have “Full” support and has decided or suggested himself that maybe it’s best to leave.
Solicitors don’t really need to sort out Bielsas contract, he only signs a yearly one so paying him April, May, June is the least the club could do.

It's highly likely though that there's an early termination clause which could run into millions. Someone as meticulous as Marcelo would want to protect his staff and make sure they get a decent severance package in this type of scenario.
I think it’s the correct decision but I’m not convinced. There is also too much we don’t know, maybe Bielsa was going to call it a day at the end of the season and we feared losing our number one target? It’s so cliché to say he’s lost the dressing room but you can’t help feeling something was wrong. Raphinha looked far from happy, Rodrigo another, Llorente dropped for a week and miraculously okay from a hamstring yet Bielsa never once said he was injured.
Bielsa in his last interview said something along the lines of the players aren’t giving him the same intensity, Bielsa himself looked tired and broken. For his own health too it’s probably the right decision.

Leeds United can today confirm the club have parted company with head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
The 66-year-old was in charge of the team for over three-and-a-half years, having taken the reins in June 2018.
He transformed the club’s fortunes on the pitch, which began with the 3-1 demolition of Stoke City at Elland Road two months later and he led Leeds to the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs in his first full season in charge.
In his second campaign Bielsa succeeded where those before him had failed, guiding the club to the Sky Bet Championship title, winning the division by 10 points, and resulting in promotion back to the Premier League for the first time in 16 years.
On the club’s return to the top-flight, Leeds finished ninth, securing the highest points tally by a newly promoted side in the Premier League since the 2000/01 campaign.
However, this season has proved to be difficult and the team has recorded just five Premier League wins.
Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani said: “This has been the toughest decision I have had to make during my tenure at Leeds United, taking into account all the success Marcelo has had at the club.
“With Marcelo as our head coach, we had three incredible campaigns and the good times returned to Elland Road. He changed the culture of the club and brought a winning mentality to us all. The moments created, particularly in the 2019/20 season and winning promotion to the Premier League, will of course live long in all our memories, myself and the fans included.
“However, I have to act in the best interest of the club and I believe a change is required now in order to secure our Premier League status. Recent results and performances have not met our expectations.
“We find ourselves in a precarious league position and I feel now is the right time to bring in a new head coach, in order to have an impact in the decisive stage of the season.
“Naturally, myself, along with everyone else at the club would like to thank Marcelo for his efforts and achievements and we wish him the very best for the future.”
Director of football Victor Orta added: “Since arriving at Leeds United Marcelo had a huge impact on the club, on a scale I have not seen before.
“He has created a legacy, overseeing major infrastructure improvements at Thorp Arch, uniting the supporters and the players, and giving a clear pathway for young players to transition into the first team.
