Got an extremely rare child free sat night, me & the wife are planning a night out in Bev.
Where’s good to go? Anywhere to avoid?
Thanks all

Food - plenty of places you probably need to book in advance...
Though had the usual superb meal at the Thai restaurant on Lairgate last week.
Pubs around Saturday market are okay, go into Nellie's (White Horse) for, gaslight, cheap beer and surrounded by older folk and feel like you're here...

Or pretend your young (which you are relatively) and go to Flemingate drink at Fire Pit and eat at the American Diner...

The pricks are usually trying to squeeze in the Beaver.

Think you will like the lyrics of this song. Amazed that got made in the 1930s. You certainly wouldn’t get it played these days.<laugh>

Beverley on a Saturday night is rough as arseholes, well the Saturday Market boozers and Beaver are.

Last time I ended up in Push( how I ended up in there is beyond me?) it was jam packed full of coked up, ‘roid heads acting like utter bell ends.

It reminds me of the Cheese/ Bass House circuit back in the day.

Push is called Grapes now, still full of pricks.

Tiger Inn is pretty good for food now.

Lads did both back in the day on a Saturday when City weren't playing, Beverley Bender in the afternoon and get a 4pm closing time(?) then train back to town and in Star of the West at 5.30(?) then on that Cheese/Cennabar/Bass circuit, happy days.

When City were at home back to Star of the West as it did indeed open at 5-30, then waited in there for the Green Mail seller to arrive. :emoticon-0125-mmm:
