........................................McGregor........................................ Rosie/Elmo.............Chester................Davies.................Robertson ..............................Diame.............Hudd................................ ......Ben Arfa......................Ramirez.....................Ince/Brady ...............................Jelavic/Hernandez What a f**ing line up, is that really hull city??
The main decision for Brucey is whether to go 2 up front or not. Unbelievable that we could have either Jela or our most expensive ever player on the bench
Can't see us going two up front when we have so much talent in midfield. I don't think two up front is necessary at all because Ince, Ben Arfa and Ramierez are going to want to get forward much more than we are doing now.
Players like Bruce, Meyler, Aluko, Maguire, (maybe even McShane or Sagbo depending on formation) will struggle to even make the squad. God knows what Figueroa is going to do for the next 9 months. And we aren't even counting Snoddy yet. This is nuts. What a day.
Are we still in Europe!! Has anyone told bruce !!! We should have no reason to hope for a long cup run . Our 2nd team looks more like our team that started against qpr now Mentaaaaal
3-4-2-1 Mac Chester, dawson, davies Elmo, hudd, diame, robertson Rameriz, ben arfa Jela Second xi Harper Macca, maguire, bruce Rosie, livermore, meyler, brady Aluko, ince Hernandez (Quinn and fig going on loan to championship sides). And watch LVG copy brucie in his formation.....
We once had a solid XI from the British isles now we are intergalactic My XI has taken ages to figure For SBs preferred 352 McGreggor Chester Dawson Davies Elmo Hudd Diame Robertson Ben arfa Hernandez Jelly Though we can now have a more effective 442 variant Good luck Brucie coz my head aches
You will start to see the best of Huddlestone now, playing with quality players like this will bring the best out of him.
The team is going to vary quite a bit from week to week from now on, with a squad that size. I suspect that when the West Ham game comes around Ramirez and Ben Arfa will have to wait their turn on the bench, given the fitness concerns surrounding both of them. Diame and Hernandez appear more ready to step straight in (interesting debut for Diame!). -------------------McGregor ---------Chester--Dawson--Davies Elmo--Livermore--Hudd--Diame--Robertson -----------Hernandez---Jelavic (Subs: Harper, Macca, Rosenior, Quinn, Ince, Ben Arfa, Ramirez) I see Ramirez competing to play in advance of two midfielders (so Livermore v Diame for one place next to Thudd). As for Ben Arfa... the big conundrum is where to play him. He brings nothing defensively, so you'd pretty much have to leave out one of your strikers and either give him a free role behind the lone striker or shove him out on a wing (which complicates things if you're playing wing-backs).
Either... ---------------McGregor Rosenior Chester Davies Robertson ----Diame Huddlestone Livermore ---------------Ben Arfa ---------Hernandez Jelavic Or... ---------------McGregor -------Chester Dawson Davies Elmo------------------------------Robertson -----Diame Huddlestone Livermore ---------------Ben Arfa --------------Hernandez
