I think most are covered but would add Nigel Tufnell, David St Hubbins and Derek Smalls from Spinal Tap. And Bill Murray as the deputy green keeper in Caddyshack.
Worst comedy characters would have to include Mrs Brown and all of her twattish boys, anyone played by Jim Carey, and the dreadful Andy Kaufman, though I think he was only trying to irritate people not make them laugh.

What about Jim Carrey playing Andy Kaufman? That creates some sort of parallax time vortex of comedy misery thingy for you, doesn’t it?
Jim Carey is Antihumour - not remotely amusing. Apparently, he’s a good painting artist though, so maybe has some talent somewhere. Andy Kaufman too, was terrible. Yet I enjoyed Man on the Moon.
I don’t have words to describe the depth of dislike I have for Mrs Brown. It often strikes me as very strange what some people, even intelligent ones, find amusing.
In a failed attempt to bring some culture to me, a friend got Mrs Iwas and I tickets to see La Boheme at the Albert Hall some years ago. It was beyond 5hit, yet every so often the audience (not including our box), for no discernible reason as far as I could make out, would burst into random laughter. At one point, one of the actors dropped a handkerchief, this was met with 2000 odd people almost suffering a group aneurysm through the apparent utter hilarity of it. Go figure.
