I think most are covered but would add Nigel Tufnell, David St Hubbins and Derek Smalls from Spinal Tap. And Bill Murray as the deputy green keeper in Caddyshack.
Worst comedy characters would have to include Mrs Brown and all of her twattish boys, anyone played by Jim Carey, and the dreadful Andy Kaufman, though I think he was only trying to irritate people not make them laugh.
Jim Carey is Antihumour - not remotely amusing. Apparently, he’s a good painting artist though, so maybe has some talent somewhere. Andy Kaufman too, was terrible. Yet I enjoyed Man on the Moon. What about Jim Carrey playing Andy Kaufman? That creates some sort of parallax time vortex of comedy misery thingy for you, doesn’t it?
No love for the League of Gentlemen on here? Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton are genius what with LoG, Psychoville and lately Inside No. 9.
