Yeah he's been overpriced and as they state on nufc.com contracts nowadays might as well be printed on toilet paper for all they mean to players.
 
agreed. Carroll is UNPROVEN.
he could be having a good season.. doesn't mean he's worth 35 million quid!

Everyone has lost out here, except maybe the Mackems. Villa have obviously paid well over the odds, as have Liverpool, but I felt Carroll was worth that to Newcastle. I'd rather have Carroll than the £35m.
 
We have been shafted by two players who could not give a flying **** about the clubs they represented. Of course it will hurt Newcastle more he was one of their own but it still hurn none the less after what Bent did to us. At least we had the time to do something about it and have signed some new players while Cashley and Carroll have waited until the last minute. I can laugh however whats the point it has been done to us and I have no doubt it will be done again....ha way the lads.
 
**** them both, they could have been legends, instead they are just cnuts but with a bit more cash they didn't need. They will never know the true love of a club like a Quinny or Shearer and more poor for it they will be. ****ers.
