Gago has been very good back in Argentina mind, I'm not entirely sure who the first choice generally is.

As always for me with Argentina, Lavezzi looks the best player, incredible movement, he's ****ing class.

Just missed a very tasty chance like, but just watch his movement, it's unplayable.

Banega always been part of Sabella's plans (https://twitter.com/eaamalyon/status/473567203082899456)

Amazing/depressing to think Banega would be one of our best players but didn't get into the squad!

Lavezzi is class, but they are blessed with an amazing amount of brilliant attacking options. Messi, Higuain, Di Maria, Tevez (didn't get in the squad), Aguero, Lavezzi and probably some more I can't remember

Looks like the end of this then, only talkshite like so probs bs

Argentina international Ever Banega will spurn interest from three Premier League clubs to join Marseille, according to Spanish newspaper Superdeporte.

talkSPORT told you earlier this month that Sunderland boss Gus Poyet was closing in on an £8m deal for the Valencia midfielder, who is approaching the end of a loan spell at Newell’s Old Boys in his homeland.

Tottenham, whose new manager Mauricio Pochettino was linked with Banega during his time in charge of Southampton, and Everton have also trailed the former Boca Juniors man.

However, it is believed the 25-year-old will turn his back on England in order to move to Ligue 1 side Marseille.

Banega is tempted by the prospect of working under his compatriot Marcelo Bielsa and will now look to seal a switch to the French team this summer.

Been watching this closely, the Superdeporte article is a week old, they're just late on it. Marseille is his preferred choice but they've not made a move for him yet so no further developments fella.

Seems Marseille have now moved, and he wants to play under Bielsa.

Can't blame the lad, this one always seemed a long shot.

Fair do's, media reports have been saying the same for ages though, for me the next development would be confirmation of accepted bid/medical/terms/or unveiling non of which has happened yet. Been looking clear of his destination for a while now just awaiting confirmation so it's no development from what i can see.

No huge shock than Banega seems Marseille-bound. As I said last week, #safc dropped interest in him due to concerns over ankle injury.

No he didn't say that. He was asked repeatedly as was his chum and they refused to answer, just that it's off. They're full of ****ing ****. Talking right out of their arses over at RR.

Don't believe the ankle injury bollocks either, nowt wrong with him, that's why he's transferring and will pass his medical. We didn't get him because bigger clubs were in for him. I'm not ashamed.

I reckon fishpaste is a bit of dramatist mesel, anyone can add a bit of make believe when they're claiming it's in the know with nowt to back it up.
