I would agree, if getting the starts up front as much as he frustrates me he will be capable of 15 goals for certain, he's terrific in the air if getting the service and to be fair has decent feet and finishin ability, attitude stinks but he was played out of position and never a starter. With his over confidence and ego that was never going to work for him, about time he did it on the pitch but if anyone has seen him for Denmark there is no questioning his ability. Best is not even near close to being a premiership striker lads, I would certainly wager on Bentdner to outscore him if a bookie was dumb enough to take that bet at even 1-2 odds. :cheesy:

<doh> it's amazing how many people missed the point. I obviously wasn't clear enough. My point was that any player can come out with confidence in the press, but they have to prove it on the pitch. EVEN Leon Best has confidence in the press but he's ****e on the pitch! That clear enough or is your brain still muddled up from losing a 4 goal advantage? ;)

At the very least this is you saying Best is at least as good as him.

Best is ****ing pony.
 
I haven't seen anything from Bendtnar that would prove he has anything about him.

Best is ****e, I can't deny that but he does score goals(annoyingly as I reckon we would have bought someone had he not scored two). Bendtnar gets the odd goal, but the times he has started for Arsenal, he has been poor and hasn't delivered. His records proves that. If Best scores more goals or around the same, I am entitled to say he's just as good. I do think that Best would have scored goals in the Arsenal team. I reckon even you BB would put away the chances that Bendtnar missed.

Two **** players who are all talk, but we have to deal with them. At least you can send yours back.
 
As long as Bruce does not play him at left back!, he could get us 20 goals and hopefully Gyan and Whickham get 20 between them.

Like i say, we'll wait and see.

Funny that a lot of Arsenal lads, and Morten Olsen seem to rate him very highly indeed.

Can i just add that this is not par for the course for Sunderland lads, Syd is 'different'.
