How important has that goal from Marshall at Chelsea proved to be. Before that goal Ben didnt look ready for championship football. But now he has some confidence he looks one of the best players in the league on current form
 
Well if he comes then it wont be for a ridiculous fee. Something you may have secured in January.

Nigel will be sure to get the best out of him!

I dont think he would get in at the minute. Dyer is in decent form and Ben Marshall is a class above anything we have in the midfield. Still IF he did come he would add another option to the wings. You would no doubt get a decent fee aswell. Unless there is a release clause in there if you dont get promoted

As long as it's for 1m-1.5m then i'm fine with that, just as I was in January when I told you he was just going through a purple patch and he wasn't worth anything like 5m.

Funny that.
 
I would like someone like Stewart brought in aswell to give us another option. Stewart is more like Dyer, he wants to ball to his feet to take his man on and get to the byline. Marshall has more to his game then that as in he is just as comfortable coming inside.

Weather or not the relationship between the 2 clubs is any better who knows but it all depends on what happens between now and the end of the season as for who we go after in the summer
 
Stewart looks dangerous too.

We often had to double up on him when we played them earlier this month.

Stewart can take others out of the game while appearing to have a bad one himself.


Now with King, Dyer and Nugent all being heavily marked I think we'll find more space for these guys if we got someone of Stewart's ilk.
 
I'm not sure there would be that much of a fee, the proposed deal also involves a season long on loan of one of your players as part of the deal(with you funding the majority of their wages).

Mr. Mills? Mr. St Ledger?
 
Dont knock big Steve just yet...we still have Leeds to play :)

But if the Hull deal did invovle Steve then that would be an absolute steal!
 
Sorry, I'm sworn to secrecy and I can't hint at positions or anything, without making it fairly obvious who they are(to be honest, I don't expect either of the players mentioned to be playing for us next season).
