if ever Brucie wants to start with Rosie , he has to play him at RB -
for all of Elmos qualities , they are pretty non existent when he is playing RB , he was reluctant to make a run up the wing when we had possession
(can't say i blame him for that mind , as Meyler was pretty adept at turning the football into a ball shaped for rugby)

i hate being critical of our players but itd frustrating how backwards the squad is going after Arsenal .

We need to re-consider Ben Arfa's potential value to our team, which could, if the team is set up correctly, be immense.

Bruce's current treatment of him is akin to buying a kitten and then getting annoyed with it because it won't bark.

Maybe Bruce should have signed a dog

Don;t you think it would be reasonable, given the situation ben Arfa's found himself in with the reputation that he has, that if he was serious about football as a career, and if he really is as good as it is claimed (he seems to get better every game he misses), that even if he was put in a slightly different position to where he wanted to play, that he would at least make an effort?

Does it really matter where he's played? Ok I accept putting him at Left back would be silly but, there is absolutely zero reason for him to pretty much do as little as he can get away with.

I really wouldn't want a team built round someone who seems prepared to put in about 5 mins of effort in a game, might score in those 5 mins, probably won't, then basically leaves us playing with 10 men for the rest of the game.

He gives me the impression he thinks he's Ronaldo, but honestly, he really is not.

It'd certainly have more bite in the tackle.

I was talking to one of Newcastle's centre backs - the one that got sent off yesterday - a couple of years ago and he said that he much preferred playing with Gabriel Obertan in the side than Ben Arfa. Why? Give the ball to Obertan and it ain't coming back for a while. Give it to Ben Arfa and anything could happen.

That's his own team mate!

Me? He'd be the first name I put on the team sheet.

Good job I'm not managing the bloody team, eh?

Burnsy just tweeted that we have the option of cancelling the loan in January.

Start picking your loan strikers people...

He can go now. Alan Pardew sadly for us has got HBA spot on.

As for Jan. I would take a punt on Eion Doyle from Chesterfield. The new Jordan Rhodes. imo.

Unproven @ PL level, yes - but worth a punt. £1m plus add ons should seal the deal.

He wasn't spectacular at Hibs and he's scoring goals in the lower leagues. I don't think he'd be good enough.

Ben Arfa I haven't rated yet in a Hull shirt. He reminds me of Aluko so far. Great feet, quality touch but no brain.

Potential there maybe and the real problem at the minute is Bruce is flapping a tad. Meyler as a right winger? Rosie as a left back? That is a piss poor couple of selections.

If Jela stays fit maybe we can settle on a front line, for me it should involve Brady on the left. There's glimpses he's back to form, certainly a lot better than that shadow that turned out against Trencin.

He's 27 in March, is two-years older than Rhodes and is having his first decent season in British football

Rhodes is only 24 and already has around 150 Football League goals

Doyle is worth about a fiver

Joel Campbell

If we do back HFA, then getting him on loan would be ideal.

I also don't think Tickles suggestion is all that bad, it's obviously a punt as he's only playing in League One currently, but he's a hard working Irish lad who's scored almost a goal a game so far this season and he wouldn't cost a fortune.
