It's a loan, but he's in his last year, so if we give him a deal for next season we get him for nothing.
He has 1 year left so in real terms it the same bloody thing. He will either stay at season end or bugger off elsewhere. Either way Newcastle will get naff all unless we have paid a small loan fee.
