Exactly what OT said. Pundits are using it to mean 'definite', which it doesn't mean at all. Definite, clear, nailed on, I'd possibly even accept 'iron clad' but stonewall? No. Unless its a penalty you refuse to talk to...

Hmm I'm not convinced. We always took it as a northern thing, stonewalls being very sure. (like Hadrians!!) Must admit its been around so long I'd never questioned it.

Their endless scouting system is beyond a game to be perfectly honest.

U ever played it? Its unique.

Last time I played it Chopra and Carlton Cole we're amazing by the time they got into their mid twenties....

I think FM is surprisingly accurate to be fair - but wouldn't base a real life argument on it.

It's a game and to use that to try back yourself up is ridiculous. Just because a game says Santon can play DM doesn't actually mean he can.

Yes, I have played it.

So what are you backing your argument of he definitely couldn't manage a 20 mins shift in midfield against a team that had took their foot off the gas when the game was over with no risk whatsoever with?

At least I have seen the lad play. At least I can see the way he plays. At least scouts, football writers, pundits reckon he may be able to cope with a massive change in positioning. That in ur mind seems unimaginable and impossible.

Your argument is laughable.

Basically you have never seen him play their personally for us yet, so you assume he cant.

With that logic Perch would never have played their. Raylor wouldn't have slotted in at left back for us. Jonas wouldn't have made a right wing cameo v Everton. Guthrie wouldn't have played on the right in the Championship year.........etc.

What makes you so sure it is an impossible task he cannot possibly manage so strongly?

It's such a non-point I suggested that has turned into a 10 page rant due to the 6/7 clique instantly dismissing it.....based on entirely nothing.

Laughable.

To be fair, full back to centre midfield is not an easy transition, whereas the examples you listed are. And City had not taken their foot off the gas, they could have scored 2 or 3 more in the last half an hour if we hadnt been careful.

Here we go again with the midfield argument <doh>

You really are a tit aren't you. Why play someone who wants to nail down one position, out of position for 20 minutes? Minutes on the pitch don't instantly make you better, if that was the case, Perch wouldn't be so utterly ****.

Also, if it's so laughable why does almost everyone disagree with you?

<doh> Literally, stop going on about it Bano. No one agrees you. Playing a RB, who has hardly played for us, just for 10 minutes against Man City in the CM position is stupid. And backing it up by saying "well this game said.." is equally stupid. Read that back. It sounds stupid. No one agrees with you, so stop trying to argue about it!

Your argument is laughable.
