He's apparently looking to get out of Liege accoring to some of their supporters on Facebook and Twitter. Get CL and sell up they think.
Get Charlton Life and sell up??

Good point but the league were in is also the hardest league to get out of so would rather see stability before trying to rejoin the premier league

Good player if he settles, and is given a better chance than our last Iranian signing. The coaching staff after being offered new contracts last week are set to sign their new contracts at the beginning of next week. We will also be looking to bring in this guy from Standard Liege as part of the new "link". Reza Ghoochannejhad , An Iranian player.
We haven't have much luck with our previous Turk (Popo), Swede (Pringle) and Iranian (Bagheri).Bit worried about these players we are bein linked with if true would they be CP signings.
Can't see him wanting to fill the team with Turks swedes and Iranians to be honest
Maybe they've been foisted on him, but it's up to him whether they play in the first team or not. If Roland tries to pick the team I can't see The Doctor standing for it.Bit worried about these players we are bein linked with if true would they be CP signings.

It is always best to make your team out of local players. I am old enough to remember when most teams were, with a sprinkling of Scots added. That is why when we are linked with players I always prefer to see that they originated near to Charlton wherever they may be currently. Foreign players have, in the nature of things, more temptations to leave. If they are doing well, they may attract the attention of a top club in their home country. If not, they are more likely to try their luck in a different country.
On the other hand, foreign players are cheaper for similar quality. Whether the saving pays off in the longer run is the gamble and where Wenger and Ferguson have proved masterly.
