IIve seen a lot of sentiments along the line of "If I show y patriotism, I will get vilified for it". People seem to be worried that flying their flag, or being openly proud of their patriotism will make other people see them as weird or racist.

Yet noone has actually quoted an example of this "patriotism predjudice", its all based on hypothetical situations.

    So heres an idea.

Why not go out and fly the flag in your front garden for a few weeks, see if anyone actually does care, or see you as loopy, because it sounds like certain people here are scared of the hypothetical scenario, due to deep seated paranoia about what "might" happen.

Im definitely not a patriot, I dont find much to be proud of in being English, but I dont have a problem with other people being proud of their nationality, so go on and try showing your patriotism, to see if everyone really is out to get you.
