After a couple of days in Intensive Care I have been moved to a more normal Ward. The problem is it has a Birds Eye view of the Landfill Site. It’s enough to give a man a relapse.

I've worked with some tough lads in my time mate, but you put them to shame with your attitude ...

... keep us posted, we'll all be thinking about you

What’s happening mate, are you making progress …

… how long do you think you’ll be in?
Because of my age (80) and my recent brain tumour removal, one month ago, they have decided not to operate to remove the blood clots around my lungs, instead they are trying a course of blood thinning injections to disperse the clots.
Recovery will be pretty long to get back to parkrun etc. So I will literally be concentrating on one step at a time. Onwards and upwards. HTL.

Good luck. Hope all goes well.
