Boy blunder ****ed up big time last summer. The option was to keep Bruce and back him or sack him off and appoint someone else who could do it his way (i.e. on a shoestring). He ****ed it up and relegated us there and then. No way back now.

Depends what my motivations were. As someone who is risk averse (like Adam Pearson, who claimed we would probably not have reached the prem if he was in charge) I'd probably take option 1a) give Slutsky a fighting chance but also safeguard my and the club's solvency by paying down the debt as well.

Judging by the events of the past 2 days, I really think he's going.

Clucas is probably been protected by 'the powers above' as a sale is imminent - Slutsky not allowed to play him more like

Likely a mutual decision, where from club perspective it's sensible to not play him, and from his perspective sensible for him not to play.
That isn't the issue we should be focussing on.
The issue is with severe lack of new signings and the question of WTF is Enob doing with all the money (all the transfer fees and the parachute money).

Ehab trying a shoestring budget, hoping Slutsky can keep us up while filling the coffers.. then hoping they can sell us on

Mr Slutsky. Seems a good man, in many ways.
He's been stitched up royally by Enob, and I think he now realises it. But sounds like his honour and morales prevent him walking away.

    I do too.
The club yet again leave poor Slutsky in a difficult situation handling all the questions from the press because there is zero communication from them.
He has only learned english six months ago, so struggled with the correct terms in my opinion.
It is obvious the club has agreed a deal for Clucas so he could not play.
Not wanting to play and not being allowed to play are quite different things but tricky if you are new to the lingo

Heres what I don't get.... so, they're pocketing all the money to pay down the gift and in doing so supposedly/ perhaps making the club an affordable option for a buyer. BUT, if the affordable buyer is only prepared to buy the club at say £40/£50 million what type of investors would we be getting. Surely an "investment' company will only buy into something with tangible assets and potential for a return on their investment and as it stands, our assets are likely limited to next seasons parachute payment which will been eaten up in wages and expenses. We do not own the ground, have no players of any value as such, so in essence, the 'investor' company is buying the name Hull City/ Hull Tigers which ever one they think they may be getting. NOW, if you were in the position to invest in a club in this country, would Hull City (as it stands today) be anywhere near the top of a list of clubs you might look at.?

I think it's time for Slutsky to turn round to Ehab's & ask him what it is that he wants from this season, then tell him to give him the help or he goes. Then we'll see just how panicky Ehab's gets.
This season is going to be a relegation scrap, anyone who believes otherwise is in cloud cuckoo land.
